The Annual Meeting for your club, Kennebec Valley Tennis Association, will be August 29, 2018 at 6 pm
in the A-Copi Tennis and Sports Center lounge. Members will have the opportunity to hear
an update about how the club is doing, meet the Board of Directors,
and vote for new board members and those signing on for another term.
Voting members include anyone with a Gold or Silver membership.
It is also possible to pay $10 dues to join KVTA, if you are not a current member.
Please join us! It will be a brief but important meeting!
Hours of Operation
Monday-friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
KVTA is dedicated to promoting youth, junior, and adult tennis at all levels in central Maine.
Check out the Schedule and find a program that fits your needs or talk to tennis pro Dan Veilleux or club manager, Terry Witham about creating one! We offer racquet stringing, so get ready for the season by getting new strings or grip! We request that everyone sign up for programs they plan to attend. This enables us to prepare and offer the absolute best tennis experience on the court for you. Each program has a limited amount of spaces available. We would not want you to arrive and not have a space open for you to play. Lockers are available to rent. Stop schlepping your stuff! $69 for 9 months, $90 for 12 months
Did you know that KVTA offers a convenient in-house personal account for all your club expenses? This account saves you from standing in line at the desk and saves the club fees charged by credit and debit cards as well. Here’s how it works:
1. Ask the Front Desk staff to start an account in your name,
2. Deposit funds into your account (we suggest loading a deposit to cover at least a month’s expenses),
3. Come in and use the courts, take a lesson, buy a pro-shop item,
4. Tell the Front Desk staff to put it on your account
5. Ask for a receipt for the balance so you know when to add more funds. (You can load funds with any amount at any time).
Sign up for your in-house account today. No membership is required!
Our fundraising efforts help supplement our operating expenses without raising prices, provide financial support for juniors, and help fund new programs like the Non-Elimination Tournaments for youth and adults. Help support your club by collecting your loose change. Pick up your KVTA Jar at the front desk. Collect all year but try to bring us a jar or a baggie! We will count your change and give you credit for a tax deductible donation. The highest donor as of June 15 will receive a gift certificate from Cushnoc Brewing Company! Last year we raised $680, let's top that!
Want to become more active at KVTA? Join us on one of our committees! Fundraising, Maintenance, PR, Social Events, Personnel, Nominations, Finance, or just give us your ideas! Fill out a comment form or speak to our director of operations or any board member!
Have you heard the news? Kennebec Valley Indoor Golf is up and running. Stop by and check it out!
